Learning Activity

To see the blog prompt on Mrs. Kallas's blog click here.

For my learning activity, I will be zoning in on Kindergarten Math adding one more and subtracting one less. To see my board on one more, one less click here. Though this activity my students will be able to identify one more and one less with numbers.

Directions to make the activity:

1) Design cards with one number at the top and multiple answer choices at the bottom including one more than the number and one less than the number (also have one wrong answer choice).
2) Make around 10 sets of cards.
3) Print out and laminate these cards.
4) Take at least 20 clothespins and make a mark with a marker on 10 of them and a different mark with the other 10. For example mark the first 10 with a orange L for less than and the other 10 with a green G for greater than.
5) Assimilate this activity durning math stations.
